Suelen Miniature Schnauzers
Suelen began in the mid-60’s, two young women with young children and a total love for terriers. In 1969 we imported a black male from Italy — It. Ch. Mayla Gunter, and he produced our Tommy Gun who was the first black Mini to win at Westminster and the Chicago International. Tommy opened the door for many blacks and black & silvers that are shown today on an equal par with their salt & pepper cousins. From Tommy came his grandson, the black & silver Hot Ice. And thus we became the first American Breeders to produce champions in all three colors. Our Minis have become the basis of many lines throughout the world.
